On 3rd April 2026, the Department of Social Work, Patna Women’s College (Autonomous), Patna University, as part of their field work, organized an Educational Awareness Session at R. Block slum under ‘P.A.C.E’ (Personal Advancement and Career Enhancement) Programme.
The session was designed for young learners across various age groups and focused on highlighting the importance of education. The speakers emphasized how learning serves as a powerful tool to transform lives and opens doors to a brighter future. The initiative aimed to inspire children to value education and recognize its role in shaping their aspirations.
To further broaden their horizons, a segment on general knowledge was also conducted. This interactive session sparked curiosity among the children and encouraged them to think beyond their immediate surroundings, fostering a spirit of inquiry and awareness.
The programme was effectively coordinated by Dr. Mridul Mishra, Head ,Department of Social Work, with Mr. Chandan kumar, Director, Social Warrior Foundation, and Mr. Puneet Kumar, Volunteer at Social Warrior Foundation, Patna.
