27th August – 2nd September 2026The Department of Data Science and Analytics observed Anti-Ragging Week from 27th August to 2nd September 2026, with a series of awareness activities aimed at fostering a safe, inclusive, and respectful campus environment.

Documentary Screening (27th August 2026):
The week commenced with the screening of a documentary video on anti-ragging. The film highlighted the harmful consequences of ragging and emphasized the importance of maintaining dignity, empathy, and discipline within the academic community.

Poster Making Competition (29th August 2026):
A creative poster competition was organized to encourage students to express their vision of a ragging-free campus. Participants showcased impactful ideas through art, focusing on themes of unity, respect, and student safety. The initiative successfully combined creativity with social responsibility.

Affidavit Submission (1st September 2026):
Students of Semester I formally pledged their commitment to a ragging-free environment by filling out the Anti-Ragging Affidavit forms. This step reinforced accountability and strengthened the collective resolve to uphold discipline and inclusivity.

Through these activities, the Department reaffirmed its dedication to building a campus culture rooted in respect, safety, and mutual support. The observance of Anti-Ragging Week served as a reminder of the institution’s zero-tolerance policy towards ragging and its commitment to nurturing a positive academic atmosphere.
