The Departments of Sanskrit and Hindi of Patna Women’s College (Autonomous) jointly observed Anti-Ragging Week from 12th to 18th August 2025 with the objective of creating awareness among students about the harmful effects of ragging and to promote a safe, supportive, and inclusive campus environment.
A series of activities were organized during the week to sensitize students:
Activity 1: Screening of Documentary (12.08.2025)
A documentary film highlighting the serious consequences of ragging was screened. The film served as a strong reminder of the psychological and legal implications associated with ragging.
Activity 2: Poster Making Competition (13.08.2025)
A poster-making competition on the theme “Say No to Ragging” was conducted. Students expressed their creativity and conveyed powerful messages against ragging through their artwork.
Activity 3: Signing of Anti-Ragging Affidavit (14.08.2025)
Students took a pledge against ragging by signing the Anti-Ragging Affidavit, reaffirming their commitment to maintaining a ragging-free campus.
The activities witnessed enthusiastic participation from the students, who not only gained awareness but also took a collective stand against ragging. The week-long observance successfully reinforced the message of mutual respect, harmony, and discipline within the college community.
