The Oath Taking Ceremony for the Cabinet members of 2026-27 was held on 2nd April 2026 under the guidance of Dr. Sister M. Saroj AC, Head and Dean, Department of Education. The programme marked the transition of responsibilities from the outgoing cabinet of 2025–26 to the newly elected cabinet.
The programme commenced with the speech of the outgoing Prefect, Yashashvi Suman, which began with the opening lines of the song “Rehne Na Rehne Hum, Meheka Karenge”. The speech captivated the audience as the song and her words flowed together in a natural expression of emotion beautifully reflecting the Cabinet journey, creating a sense of continuity, shared memories and the emotional transition of leadership.
The outgoing cabinet members submitted their badges, marking the completion of their tenure. They were felicitated with certificates and flowers by Dr. Sister M. Saroj AC as a token of appreciation for their service and contribution.
The newly elected cabinet then took the oath of office, pledging to uphold discipline, responsibility, and the values of the department. Thereafter, the newly elected Prefect, Tanya Patel, addressed the gathering and shared her vision for the upcoming tenure.
Dr. Sister M. Saroj AC addressed the students and guided them regarding their roles and responsibilities. The programme concluded with the Vote of Thanks delivered by the Vice Prefect, Achala Srivastava.
