Patna Women’s College Autonomous introduced a new four years Integrated Teacher Education Programme in the Department of Education. A two week Orientation Programme for the newly admitted students of ITEP B. Sc. B. Ed., session 2026-30 was organized by the Department from 1st to 11th July, 2026. The programme introduced students to the college’s vision, academic culture, NEP 2020, institutional values, and the ITEP curriculum.
Different sessions on the college profile, environment, gender awareness, human values, professional ethics, clubs and committees, placement opportunities, and institutional social responsibility were conducted for the students. They also attended yoga workshop, talent hunt, extempore, team-building games, field visit to Bankipore Girls High School and a session on “Digital Ethics in the Age of AI”. The programme concluded with interactive communication games.The orientation successfully familiarized students with the institution, promoted holistic development, and prepared them to begin their teacher education journey with confidence and enthusiasm.
