The Department of Fashion Designing, Patna Women’s College Autonomous celebrated Fresher’s Day 2026 with great enthusiasm on 23rd July, 2026.
The event was organised to welcome the new undergraduate Fashion Designing students and provide them with an opportunity to bond with their seniors and faculty members.
The celebration started with lighting the lamp by esteemed judges Dr. Vinita Priyedarshi, Head, Dept of Political Science and Ms Kriti Rani , Assistant Professor, Dept. of Performing Art.
Students presented a cultural program featuring lively performances in singing and dance.
The highlight of the function was the Fashion Ramp Walk, where Students confidently showcased their sense of style and design.
The special moment of the program was the announcement of “Miss Fresher 2026” – Shabbahat Anjum.
The entire program was conducted under the guidance of the Head of the Dept. Dr. Shemushi Madhu and Coordinator Dr. Geetanjali Choudhay.
Faculty members Ms. Asha Pandey, Ms. Priyanka Singh, Dr. Purnima Roy and Ms. Silky Keshri also played a vital role in mentoring and assisting students throughout the preparation.
34 fresher students and 30 senior students actively participated in the event making it a memorable occasion.
