On 21st July 2026, Department of Physics, Patna Women’s College (Autonomous), organized Freshers’ Day 2026 to warmly welcome the new batch (2026-2030) of students in UG Physics Lab. The programme was graced by Dr. Sister Anna A.C., Assistant Professor, Department of Geography and Dr. Jaya Philip, Head, Department of Microbiology. The celebration began with a graceful Prayer Dance, followed by a Welcome Song. The welcome address was given by Dr. Kavita Verma, Head, Department of Physics. A heartfelt self-written Poetry Recitation and a lively Western Song performance added charm to the occasion. The inspiring addresses by the distinguished guests encouraged the students to embrace new opportunities with confidence and enthusiasm. Jiyasi Nandini, was crowned as Miss Fresher of Department of Physics.The programme concluded with a sincere Vote of Thanks, leaving everyone with fond memories and marking a joyful beginning to the freshers’ academic journey.
