The Department of Computer Applications (MCA), Patna Women’s College (Autonomous), Patna University, organized an Online Expert Session on “AI-Augmented Product Management: Agile & GenAI for Product Excellence & Customer Value” on 1st August 2026 from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM via Zoom.
The session was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Bhawna Sinha, Dean, IT & Head, Department of Computer Applications (MCA). The programme started with a welcome address by Ms. Richa Verma, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Applications (MCA). The resource person, Ms. Shweta Thakur, an AI-Augmented Product Professional and Agile expert, shared valuable insights into the role of Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI in modern product management.
The session covered AI-driven product development, Agile practices, customer-centric innovation, workflow optimization, and emerging career opportunities in product management. Through real-world examples and interactive discussions, students gained practical knowledge of how AI is transforming the product lifecycle and creating new career pathways.
The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from MCA students, faculty members, and other interested students. The interactive Q&A session further enhanced students’ understanding of industry trends and professional expectations.
The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks, by Ms Sushmita Chakraborty, Assistant Professor, MCA expressing gratitude to the resource person for her insightful presentation and to the college administration, faculty members, and participants for making the programme a success.
