NICCS – Faculty Interface Meeting

The Centre for National, International Collaborations and Consultancy Services (NICCS) at Patna Women’s College (Autonomous) recently organized a Faculty Interface Meeting with the Department of English in collaboration with St. Joseph’s College (Autonomous), Tiruchirapalli. The meeting was graced by esteemed guests Dr. V. Jaya Paul, Former Head and Associate Professor, and Dr. M. Amutha, Associate Professor, who gave a joint presentation on their department and institution. Mr. Alok John, Dean, NICCS, delivered the welcome address, laying the background of the college and highlighting avenues of collaboration. Dr. Sahar Rahman, Head, Department of English, presented the department’s profile, introducing the faculty, best practices, and expertise. The session was expertly moderated by Dr. Devina Krishna, Assistant Professor, Department of English. The meeting focused on exploring avenues of collaboration, including joint research paper publications, co-supervision of research scholars, reviewership in journals, and student-faculty exchange programs. The team also met with Principal Dr. Sister M. Rashmi, A.C., who expressed pleasure on their visit and welcomed the guests. Additionally, the guests visited various departments and had a comprehensive campus tour, gaining insight into the college’s infrastructure and academic environment. Dr. Deepika Tiwari proposed the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the dignitaries and participants.
