The Department of Fashion Designing, Patna Women’s College celebrated Fresher’s Day with great enthusiasm and vibrant spirit on 30th August, 2025. It was a warm welcome under new undergraduate and postgraduate Fashion Designing students, giving them an opportunity to connect with their peers and faculty member in a joyous and creative atmosphere. The celebration started with lighting the ceremonial lamp by Dr. Sister Anna A.C. and Ms. Komal Kumari.
Students presented a brief yet captivating cultural programme featuring lively performances in music and dance. The event brought to life and enthusiasm, energy and talent of the students, setting the tone for a promising academic year.
A highlight of the function was the Fashion ramp walk, where students confidently showcased their sense of style and design. The runway was filled with innovative and expressive outfits, reflecting the creativity and flair that the Fashion Designing Department is known for.The entire programme was organized under the guidance of Head of the Dept. Dr. Shemushi Madhu and Coordinator Ms. Geetanjali Choudhary, whose support ensured the smooth execution of the event. Faculty members Ms. Asha Pandey, Ms. Priyanka Singh, and Dr. Purnima Roy also played a vital role in mentoring and assisting students throughout the preparation of this programme.Including freshers and seniors, 56 students actively participated in the event making it a memorable occasion.
