दिनांक 01/09/2025 को पटना वीमेंस कॉलेज के हिंदी विभाग द्वारा हिंदी पखवाड़ा का शुभारंभ किया गया जिसके अंतर्गत प्रथम वर्ष की AEC हिंदी की छात्राओं को चार समूहों में बांटकर शब्द लड़ी प्रतियोगिता आयोजित की गई। छात्राओं ने शिक्षकों द्वारा दिए गए शब्द के अंतिम अक्षर से शुरू करते हुए अनेक शब्द बनाए और इसी क्रम में शब्दों की लड़ी का निर्माण किया। इस प्रतियोगिता का उद्देश्य छात्राओं के हिंदी शब्द ज्ञान एवं हिंदी भाषा के प्रति उनकी सजगता को परखना और उनकी प्रतिभा को निखारना था। सबसे अधिक शब्द बनाने वाली पहली तीन छात्राओं को हिंदी दिवस के सुअवसर पर पुरस्कृत किया जाएगा। यह प्रतियोगिता हिंदी विभाग के अध्यक्ष डॉक्टर कुमार धनंजय और शिक्षकों डाॅक्टर मंंजुुला सुशीला,डाॅक्टर दीपा श्रीवास्तव, डॉक्टर सुषमा चौबे और डाॅक्टर ब्रह्मानंद के मार्गदर्शन में आयोजित हुई। प्रतियोगिता के सफल संचालन में हिंदी विभाग की द्वितीय तथा तृतीय वर्ष की छात्राओं का सराहनीय योगदान रहा।
