The Srijan Club (Art and Craft Club), in collaboration with the Department of Fashion Designing, Patna Women’s College, organised International Tiger Day celebrations on 29th July, 2026. The event aimed to raise awareness about tiger conservation while showcasing the artistic skills and creativity of the students of Fashion Designing.
As part of the celebration, various competitions were organised, including Tiger Cap Painting for BAFD Semester I students and T-Shirt Designing for BAFD Semester III students. The celebration of International Tiger Day through fashion and art reflected the institution’s commitment to promoting creativity, innovation, and conservation awareness among students.
The panel of judges, Ms. Asha Pandey, Assistant Professor, Department of Fashion Designing, and Ms. Vandana Sinha, Assistant Professor, Department of Fashion Designing, Patna Women’s College, selected the top three designs based on creativity, originality, presentation, and overall impact. More than 65 students enthusiastically participated in the competitions.
The event was conducted under the guidance of the Head of the Department, Dr. Shemushi Madhu, and Coordinator, Dr. Geetanjali Choudhary. All the faculty members were present and witnessed the remarkable talent and creativity of the Fashion Designing students.

BAFD Semester III – T-Shirt Designing Competition

- 2nd Prize: Vedika, Achla Kashyap
- 3rd Prize: Afiya Karim
