The National Service Scheme (NSS) , Regional Directorate, Patna organized an Interaction Programme on 21st April 2026 at Patna Women’s College in the true spirit of the NSS motto, “Not Me, But You.” The programme witnessed the presence of all members of the NSS Regional Office.The programme brought together distinguished dignitaries, educators, NSS Programme Officers, and volunteers for a meaningful exchange on youth empowerment, skill development, and social service.
The event was graced by Shri Nitesh Kumar Mishra, Hon’ble Additional Secretary, Department of Youth Affairs, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, as the Chief Guest. Other esteemed dignitaries present included Shri Vinay Kumar, Regional Director, National Service Scheme, and Shri Shambhu Kumar, Deputy Director, Agriculture Department, Government of Bihar.
The programme was conducted in the gracious presence of Sister Celine Crasta A.C ., Department of History and Cultural Coordinator, Patna Women’s College, whose support and encouragement added immense value to the event.
NSS Programme Officers: Dr. Jyoti Chandra and Dr. Brahma Nand of Patna Women’s College played a key role in conducting and coordinating the programme successfully.
The interaction provided a valuable platform for NSS volunteers and Programme Officers from various units to engage with the dignitaries, gain meaningful insights, and strengthen their commitment towards nation-building through selfless service. Discussions focused on youth participation, leadership, social responsibility, and the role of NSS in fostering community engagement.
The programme concluded on an inspiring note, reaffirming the spirit of youth participation, leadership, and social responsibility, and leaving the participants motivated to continue working towards the ideals of service and nation-building.
