On the occasion of International Youth Day, Red Ribbon Club launched a ceremony of the Intensified Campaign on 11th August 2025 in A.N College campus which aimed at sensitizing youth towards HIV/AIDS prevention, stigma reduction, and healthy lifestyle choices to spreading awareness about HIV/AIDS. Several participants from different institutions of Patna, including Patna Women’s College, Magadh Mahila College, JD Women’s College, Arvind Mahila College, BD College, Patna Law College, Patna Science College, Patna Training College etc..participated in this event.
To mark the occasion, a stage drama competition was held from 10:00 a.m., where students of Patna Women’s College showcased thought-provoking and socially conscious performances .
The results of the competition were as follows:
First Prize: Anugrah Narayan College – ₹20,000 cash award
Second Prize: Patna Women’s College – ₹15,000 cash award
Third Prize: College of Commerce, Arts and Science – ₹10,000 cash award
The performances were marked by creativity, strong social messages, and audience engagement, making the session both informative and interactive. The event successfully encouraged dialogue about the prevention and awareness of HIV/AIDS, emphasizing the role of youth in shaping a healthier future.
In conclusion, the programme stood as a testament to the power of collective youth action and the importance of awareness campaigns in eradicating misconceptions about HIV/AIDS. The participation of multiple institutions reflected the unity of the academic community in addressing pressing social health issues.
