NCC and NSS unit of Patna Women’s College jointly organised poetry recitation competition to create awareness on issues of climate changes and global environmental problems. Students recited self composed poems highlighting the importance of nature in our lives and the need to protect mother earth through adopting sustainable practices. In all 22 students participated in the event.
The program started with inaugural address by Lt Dr Vinita Priyedarshi ANO NCC followed by an address by NSS coordinator Dr Jyoti Chandra. The judges for the event were Dr Sushma Assistant Professor from the Dept of Hindi and Dr Baby Singh Assistant Professor from the dept of Political Science.
Khushi Raj from NSS bagged the first prize while Sreshtha Narayan from NCC secured second position. Third position was bagged by Khushboo Kumari of NSS.
