On 13.08.2026 the Department of Geography, Patna Women’s College, Autonomous organised a Poster Making Competition on the theme “Women in India: Freedom, Strength and Leadership” for UG Semester V students and a Slogan Writing Competition on “My Freedom, My Responsibility” for UG Semester I students on the occasion of Independence Day 2026. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation and reflected the students’ creativity, awareness and patriotic spirit. The programme was organized under the supervision of Dr. Amrita Chowdhury, Head, Department of Geography.
