Srijan Club (Art and Craft Club) Orientation program 2026. 3 October 2026. Srijan Club,in the collaboration with the Department of Fashion Designing, Patna Women’s College, successfully conducted orientation and oath taking ceremony program for newly appointed club members.
The programme was graced by Padma Shri Shyam Sharma, Former Principal, College of Arts & Crafts, Patna, as the Guest Speaker. With his rich experience and significant contribution to the field of art and craft, he shared valuable insights with the students and encouraged them to approach creativity with curiosity, discipline, originality and dedication.
During the interaction, students gained a deeper understanding of the significance of art and craft in contemporary creative practices and the role of artistic activities in nurturing imagination, innovation, self-expression and cultural appreciation. The program was coordinated by Dr. Geetanjali Choudhary, Srijan Club Coordinator, and Dr Shemushi Madhu,Head of the department of Fashion Designing.Ms Asha Pandey and Dr.Purnima Roy supported this event .
The program was moderated by Sijan club members.
The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from 90 students.
