Patna Women’s College (Autonomous) observed Anti Ragging Week from 27th August to 2nd September 2026 to create awareness among students against ragging and to promote safe campus culture. As part of the observance, the students of B.Com. (Hons.) Taxation and Auditing were shown the documentary movie based on the causes, effects and prevention of ragging on 27th August 2026.
On 29th August 2026, the Department of Commerce – Taxation and Auditing organized Poster Making Competition and Essay Writing Competition for the students of Semester-I, Semester-III and Semester-V. Students of all semesters participated actively and shared strong messages of respect, safety and dignity through posters and essays. On 1st September 2026, the Department organized a session for filling the Anti Ragging Affidavit/Undertaking for the students of Semester-I. The undertaking is a declaration where students accept responsibility for their conduct and commit to maintaining a ragging-free campus. The Anti Ragging Week was observed successfully with enthusiastic participation and created a positive impact among the students.
