he Department of Mass Communication, Patna Women’s College organised a series of activities during Anti-Ragging Week, observed from 27th August to 2nd September 2026, with the objective of sensitising students and fostering a safe, inclusive, and respectful campus.
The week commenced on 27th August 2026 with the screening of documentaries highlighting the adverse impact of ragging. The screening familiarised students with the consequences of ragging and the rules and regulations in place to prevent and prohibit the practice.
On 29th August 2026, a Poster Making Competition was organised for Semester I students. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from 46 students, who creatively conveyed messages advocating a ragging-free campus. The winners were Tarannum Bano (First), Kajal Singh (Second), and Priya and Arushi Evelyn (Third).
As part of the awareness campaign, on 1st September 2026, students were apprised of the UGC Anti-Ragging guidelines and completed the prescribed
