The Department of Philosophy, Patna Women’s College, celebrated its Departmental Freshers’ Day with great enthusiasm and warmth on 22nd July, 2026. The event welcomed the newly admitted students and provided them with an opportunity to bond with their seniors and faculty members in a lively and cheerful atmosphere.
The programme began with the felicitation of the esteemed judges, Sister Anna, Assistant professor,Department of Geography, and Ms. Komal Kumari, Assistant Professor, Department of Sociology, with beautiful bouquets given by the students. This was followed by an entertaining welcome address, after which the audience enjoyed one duet song, two group dances and two poems. The celebration concluded with an energetic ramp walk..
A special moment of the programme was the announcement of Ms. Shriya as Miss Freshers 2026. The programme was held in the presence of Dr. Keerti Choudhary, Head, Department of Philosophy ,along with Dr. Kamalendra,Dr.Richa and Miss Sonam the faculty and three cabinet members ,whose presence and encouragement contributed to the success of the celebration.
